Pre-selection: analysis of the applicant’s documents – curriculum vitae, cover letter

  • The relevant candidates for the first round of recruitment – interview – are selected on the basis of the curriculum vitae, cover letter or any other document required for the particular position.
  • Our HR specialists work on the pre-selection in cooperation with future direct superiors who carefully analyse the information in the provided documents.

1st round of recruitment – interview
 

Interviews take place in Kladno or in the individual distribution centres. The future superior is also present at the interview. The interview includes the following:

  • A structured interview focused on the candidate’s prior work experience and verifiable competences
  • Professional test, if required for the position
  • Knowledge of a foreign language – usually English – in relation to the position
  • The applicant’s real interest in working for ESA and motivation (in relation to the cover letter) is determined during the interview as well as the applicant’s professional prerequisites (in relation to the curriculum vitae) for the particular job position or for any other positions – professional specialization, professional level and experience in the professional field.
  • Psychological diagnostics (if needed – according to the type of job).

Evaluation of the 1st round of recruitment – interview

  • The HR specialist together with the future direct superior agrees on a narrower selection of candidates who advance to the second round (if needed). The most suitable candidate for the given job position is identified and a job offer corresponding with the visions of both parties is created.
  • Applicants who have not been selected can be placed in the database (if interested) to be contacted in future if a job position corresponding with their qualification opens. In some cases, applicants are offered a different job position.

Job offer

  • The selected candidate is contacted by the HR department with an offer.
  • The applicant can make any other inquiries.
  • If both parties agree on the terms and conditions of the job offer, the date of commencement of employment is negotiated and an employment contract signed.
